Beading Ideas - 5 Amusing Christmas Designs: Simple, Good Looking And Attractive

Christmas is the time of amusement, and if you are a fan of beading and bead craft, then you can utilize your passion for the hobby to fuel complete new appearance for your house this holiday season with a collection of free beading ideas! If you are looking for fun Christmas beading ideas to add to the festive look to your home this Dec 25, then keep reading and we will outline 5 Christmas projects you can try!

1 - Candy Canes - Simple and attractive as beading ideas go, you don't require much in the way of supplies to make these, and the designs are kid-friendly to boot! The good news is that with even a modest stock of supplies, you've probably got everything you need to make several of these with supplies on hand, and they make excellent decorations for your Christmas tree!

2 - Christmas Trees - tinny miniature trees can be made fast and effortlessly, with or without "decorations" (you can use multi-colored glass beads sewn around the tree design in different locations for a gorgeous effect!). Another kid-friendly design that comes together fairly quickly!

3 - Wreaths - Similar to the tree design, above, but a bit more complex, and as such, perhaps not as "child friendly" (as they take slightly longer to execute and see the results of your efforts, smaller children might get frustrated before they're finished). Still, it's a fantastic little project that looks attractive when finished! Buy several shades of green seed beads to make shadow and texture in your items, and highlight with red bits of holly.

4 - Angels - A moderately more hard piece (and again, anything that child may not have the patience for), the simplest patterns to work with display angels in profile. Buy different shades of white, silver, and gray to make a dimensional effect in your pieces. These look magnificent on the tree!

5 - Snowflakes - Of all the beading ideas stated here, the snowflake pattern is the hardest one to get right. This is certainly not a pattern that small children could help with, as these can get quite complex. They make among the most beautiful and striking decorations on the tree, but, and if you've got the skill level and patience for it, you will be well rewarded for your efforts! Executing one pattern well is (or can be) a somewhat daunting task, but if you are feeling especially adventurous, you can try making every snowflake on your tree unique! It's a tall order, but can surely be done, just be ready to dedicate quite lots of time to the task!

As you can see from just the 5 beading ideas above, there're all kinds of fun holiday beading tasks you can sink your teeth into, and this list only barely scratches the surface!
